Hello, does anyone knows how to burn JAWS into a cd. What format do I use, and how? Please reply to this. Thanks.

In order to copy the jaws folder onto a cd, you need to use data cd format. Most cd-burning software offer data cd format or audio cd format. You need to choose the data cd format.

I use a program called easy cd creator that works great with jaws. However, I beleve there are other cd-burning applications which work with screen readers.

hey thanks Blake, but i have real one player, windows media player, and itunes. so, which of this three should i use. i know with the same format.

Hi, I don't think, in fact, I highly doubt, that you can use any of the programs you mentioned to burn jaws into a cd. Windows media, real player, and I tunes, are programs for burning music but I don't think they work when you're trying to burn data. So, what you need to do first, I think, is to get either nero burning rom or easy cd creator. Either one can help when you try to burn your jfw on a cd. Now, the procedure to burn the software on the cd? Well, it depends on which burner software you're using. I know how to do that with Easy CD Creator, but I don't know how to do it with Nero. So, again, what you first need to do is to get either of the two aforementioned software so you can burn data on a cd. Sorry, I wish I could help more. I hope this info helps though.

thanks Jaoqin, but do you know where to get it free? this software for burning data. well i'm sorry i have lots of questions its just my friends birthday is coming and i want to give him JAWS for his 18 birthday. so, that he could go online and to help with him school work. well hopefully someone can tell me where to get this software free. thanks. i really appreciate the help.

Hi. No, I'm sorry, I don't know how to get any of those softwares for free. The easy cd creator software was included with my burner when I bought it back in 2002. I think your best bet is, if you have a friend who has a burner, ask him or her to burn the jfw into a cd for you. That's all I can help, sorry. Joaquín

can i just copy the software and paste it, in to the location where i will be burning it?
